The proposed Victoria’s Secret Rebrand was a semester long project my senior year in which I selected one business that I believe would benefit from a new marketing campaign and overall redesign. Victoria’s secret struggles with a long history of promoting unrealistic beauty standards, among many other scandals. After conducting thorough market research, I created a Victoria’s Secret rebrand and campaign that centered around the reclaiming of the term “Victoria’s Secret Angel” and making it a term that is universally inclusive of all sizes, races, and gender identities. I also proposed the launch of a new line called You by Victoria’s Secret, which targets the market trend of gender neutral / gender inclusive lingerie. All of which was done while still maintaining the iconic VS look that has always been recognizable and admired.
